Industrial electrical breakdowns and fault finding
Production stopped, machinery tripping, or a fault nobody can pin down. We diagnose electrical faults on live industrial sites and get plant running again.
Brisbane, Logan, Beenleigh, Yatala, Gold Coast, Tweed Heads and Northern NSW.
What we get called to
The faults that stop a plant
If you are responsible for keeping a site running, these are the situations we deal with regularly.
Production stoppages
Electrical faults that have taken out a machine, a conveyor or a whole line. We work through the electrical side methodically rather than swapping parts and hoping.
Intermittent faults
The ones that trip once a shift and clear before anyone gets there. Usually the hardest and the most expensive to leave alone.
Motor and drive faults
VSDs tripping under load, motor starter and overload faults, failed connections, and motors that keep dropping out without an obvious cause.
Control circuit problems
Field devices, sensors, actuators, relays and contactors. Establishing whether the fault sits in the wiring, the device or the control system.
Safety circuit trips
E-stops, guard switches, light curtains and safety relays dropping plant out. Diagnosed and repaired against the existing design.
Switchboard and MCC faults
Distribution board faults, MCC problems, tripping mains and supply issues affecting a section of the plant.
Scope
What we fault find on
Sparktech was established in 2024, on the back of more than twenty years of hands-on electrical work inside food and beverage, manufacturing and production facilities. That experience is mostly diagnostic, on plant that was already running.
- Production machinery and process equipment
- Motors, starters, overloads and motor circuits
- Variable speed drives, including configuration and replacement
- PLC controlled machinery, isolating whether a fault is electrical, field device or control related
- Sensors, actuators and field wiring
- Relays, contactors and control circuits
- Safety circuits, e-stops, guard switches and safety relays
- Switchboards, MCCs and power distribution

How a callout runs
What happens when you ring
Tell us what has stopped
Call us and explain what the plant is doing, what has already been checked and what production is affected. We can ask the right initial questions and work out what information will help before attendance.
We attend and diagnose
We isolate the fault to the supply, wiring, field device, drive or control system, then explain what we've found and the recommended next step before proceeding.
Repair or next steps
Where possible, we complete the repair and return the plant to service. If parts or specialist support are required, we explain what's needed and the quickest practical next step. Relevant testing and documentation is completed where required.
Where specialist PLC or HMI programming is needed, we coordinate trusted automation partners alongside our electrical work.
Getting us there
Availability
For breakdowns and after-hours requirements, call to check current availability. We will tell you straight away whether we can get someone to you, rather than taking the job and leaving you waiting.
For sites that need ongoing backup, talk to us about planned maintenance support, shift coverage and contractor arrangements before the next breakdown occurs.
Where we work
Sites we attend
South East Queensland and Northern NSW, from Tweed Heads through the Gold Coast, Yatala, Beenleigh and Logan to Brisbane. Licensed in both states, so sites either side of the border are equally in scope.
